Like most trades, this depends on the scope and size of the job – however, on average, most installations are usually completed within a day.
We will contact you after completion of our scoping of works involved.  If we do require your attendance at home, we will contact you in advance and arrange a time convenient for you.

In a word, relax.  We always like to inform residents and retailers well in advance of any gas works happening in their area.  Everyone in your area will have received a similar letter in their letterbox to let them know when work will begin and what to expect.  Following this, there will be a card drop to remind people of the date when works will commence.  You can also find out more at our website here. The process for arranging installation for a gas meter needs to be initiated by your gas retailer.  Generally, allow a 24-48 hour period after notifying them.
